If there was a way to wake up looking incredible without effort, would you take it?

What if through the process of lash lifting and tinting, you could wake up with your eyelashes looking ready for the day with minimal time invested in getting ready? It’s totally possible, and we’re the experts who can show you how it’s done.

What is a lash lift and tint?

You’ve probably seen the lash world poppin’ off over the last couple of years. We totally get it, and we’re big fans of the lash lift and tint, which is the process of perming and curling your lashes while your eyes are closed to get a fuller, darker, curled look from your natural lashes.

The benefits of getting a lash lift and tint

You might be wondering if it’s worth it to get a lash lift and tint. If you spend a fair amount of time doing your eye makeup in the morning while you get ready for your day, the answer is almost always yes. We’re talking at least 15 minutes a day shaved off of your morning routine just by having your lashes lifted and tinted.

Creating a dramatic, beautiful look with your natural lashes is a brilliant way to connect with dressing all of your favorite outfits up and down.

How long does a lash lift and tint last?

Certain treatments and enhancements are short-lived, making them feel like they’re not quite worth your dime and time. But a lash lift and tint can last for about 4 to 6 weeks, and possibly longer depending on how well you take care of your lashes.

When you do the math, you might notice that the amount of time and money you spend on lash enhancements and expensive mascaras is comparable to a single lash lift and tint session every 4 to 6 weeks.

Lash lift and tint vs lash extensions

If you’re wondering what the difference is between a lash lift and tint versus lash extensions, you’re not alone. Eyelash extensions are known to make your eyes pop by bonding individual lashes to your natural lashes. Extensions use a medical-grade adhesive to ensure they stay intact. If eyelash extensions are not appropriately applied, they can possibly cause harm to your natural lashes.

Lash extensions only last for about a month and may need touch-ups in between whereas a lift and tint helps you keep your lashes manageable and beautifully curled, all with less irritation. The focus of a lash lift is to accentuate your natural lashes.

What to expect from a lash lift and tint appointment

It’s okay to be wary about certain enhancements, particularly around the eye and especially if you’ve had poor experiences with lash extensions in the past. Lash lifts and tints are quite different.

How do you prepare for a lash lift and tint?

Preparing for your lash lift and tint appointment is easy enough. You’ll remove all of your eye makeup, false lashes, and contact lenses if you’re wearing them. You’ll also want to avoid curling your natural lashes for about 24 hours prior to your lash enhancement appointment. Ditch the waterproof mascara about two days before your procedure since it will leave unwanted residue behind.

What a lash lift and tint appointment consists of

Trying to picture what your appointment will look like is a little tricky, especially when you're not sure what to expect. Your lash specialist will apply a lifting solution across your lashes and then a setting solution which could take a total of 20 to 30 minutes depending on how thick your lashes are. Boosting and lifting occur due to the keratin lash perming solution your esthetician uses throughout this process. The end result is a stunning, natural-looking, thicker, and darker curled version of your natural lashes .

Taking care of your lash lift and tint

Being gentle with your lashes takes a little bit of mindfulness. Make sure to keep your lashes from getting wet for the first 24 hours after your appointment. When cleansing, use gentle products.

Refrain from eye make-up and the sauna or steam for at least 24 hours after your lift and tint.  Waterproof mascara is okay to use 24 hours after your session.

A vajacial treatment is basically a facial for your vulva that includes the bikini and outer labia area. While the skin around your vulva and on your pubic bone is different from your facial skin, it's still thin and sensitive compared to the thicker skin around your body. It deserves the care, attention, and hydrating products, just like anywhere else!
